About V Hall 關於V倉
大館當代美術館呈獻虛擬展覽空間V倉，供專為數碼空間而設的展覽、委約創作、項目舞於虛擬與實體之間。
人類的觀看習慣發生了多次歷史轉變——從電影投影到電視螢幕，再到近年我們緊握手中的手機螢幕。這塊小小螢幕已足以讓人完成交流連繫、吸收資訊等豐富活動。有見及此，我們鼓勵藝術家在創作中使用和實驗不同形式的屏幕。V倉每年開展兩個項目，支持藝術家以具嚴謹構思、簡潔美學和趣味奇想的手法介入數碼空間。
Tai Kwun Contemporary presents V Hall, a virtual exhibition space where exhibitions, commissions, and projects tailored for digital space dance between the virtual and the physical.
Artists are encouraged to engage and experiment with screen-based formats in light of the historic shift in viewing habits from filmic projections to monitors, and more recently to the screens we so intimately cradle in our hands, where we connect and consume, among myriad activities. With two projects a year, V Hall fosters artistic interventions into digital space—with conceptual rigour, aesthetic tautness, and playful whimsy.
