As today’s greatest exponent of the Berlin cabaret style, Ute Lemper brings her unique artistry and compelling dramatic presence to Tai Kwun’s Prison Yard to explore the radical and seedy underground of Berlin in the 1920s and 1930s. Composers such as Kurt Weill, Frederick Hollander, Mischa Spoliansky and Hanns Eisler invented the edgy and gritty sound which unmistakably captures those decadent decades between the wars.
