At Tai Kwun, visitors are immersed in a unique atmosphere of heritage and arts. In the compound, the contrast of architectural features and fine design details brings the historic buildings to life. Situated in the heart of Central on Hong Kong Island, Tai Kwun also faces Hollywood Road. The Central-Mid-Levels Escalator is connected to the compound by a footbridge in order to access the site. If you are looking for a space for your next event, Tai Kwun is your best choice. There are in total 9 event spaces available for hire, where you can organise events, exhibitions, meetings, conferences, workshops or screenings. Venues include the auditorium with around 200 seats, designed by the internationally renowned architectural practice Herzog & de Meuron, two outdoor spaces (the Parade Ground and the Prison Yard with approximately 14,000 square feet each), as well as semi-open spaces and studios.
