Nothing evokes the Christmas spirit quite like the sight of a decked out and dazzling Christmas tree, covered from top to bottom with sparkling ornaments. The magic starts in the centre of Parade Ground, with a 12-metre tall the Giving Tree from The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Whether you’re looking for the best place in town to snap your Christmas family photo or just looking for a beautiful addition to your Instagram, the Giving Tree which symbolises hope, health and happiness, is the best place to create memories with your loved ones.

‘Tis The Season For Giving

Gifting never felt so good. Give back more this year by purchasing a themed ornament as a special gift to friends and family while supporting a good cause. Limited to 10,000 pieces and in three versions, each ornament represents a gift of hope, health and happiness. Members of the public can purchase these meaningful ornaments online from 7 December and collect them at Tai Kwun from 20 December. All sales proceeds, along with a matching donation by The Hong Kong Jockey Club, will go to The Community Chest of Hong Kong.

Those who are looking for an intimate wintry dinner with their loved ones won’t want to miss Madame Fù - Grand Café Chinois’ special Christmas set menu, as it’s perfect for friends and family to bond over a festive feast. 

Tai Kwun has a sensational variety of shops filled with seasonal gems waiting to be explored! Find yourself inside a crafty workshop that teaches you how to make your own Chongming fabric handweaving coaster at 112mountainyam’s. Meanwhile, bonart is hosting an “air plant string art workshop”, and you can learn a thing or two about contemporary Kintsuigi aesthetics inside Touch Ceramics’ Christmas workshop.

Tai Kwun Circus Plays

“Tai Kwun Circus Plays” returns to enchant visitors throughout the Christmas and New Year season. The circus once again brings to Tai Kwun an array of dreamy and exciting acrobatic performances, clown shows, and family workshops from across the globe. 

In addition to all exciting performances, a series of family-friendly circus workshops will be offered to the public free of charge.
