The crowd-pleasing “Ting-Koo-Ki Mad Skills Battle” is returning to Tai Kwun’s grand outdoor stage! The 16 talented local circus artists featured in this programme are ready to challenge each other by performing uncompromising acts for your delight. Alike the performances in past years, “TKK Mad Skills Gala” will warm up the artists and audiences before the one-on-one “TKK Mad Skills Battle” on the following day. With voting by the audiences in every contest, the final winner will emerge after a full day of breath-taking battles.

Featuring 16 daring and unique circus performers in town, “TKK Mad Skills Gala” is the stage to showcase their proudest acts before the real battle takes place. In the Gala, you will experience some of the most breath-taking and innovative performances by our talented local artists. Their exuberant creativity, courage and dedication are what make circus performance captivating.

TKK Mad Skills Battle

After seeing each other’s best acts in the Gala, TKK Mad Skills Battle is where the performers get to challenge each other one-on-one. In just 30 seconds’ time, each contestant must demonstrate their best solo acts and impress the audience in a split second. The best who wins the audience’s heart is the final winner.

More than a series of gripping and one-on-one contests, TKK Mad Skills Battle is a vibrant party. Behind the epic contests and regardless of results, fearless contestants are fuelled by a spirit of “never quit, never give up”. They may suffer performance hiccups or lose to more talented opponents, but contestants never quit, won’t fear setbacks and always get back up after making mistakes. After all, relentless perseverance is what “TKK Mad Skills Battle” is about!

“TKK Mad Skills Gala” and “TK Skills Battle” require pre-registration with limited quota on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Hsingho Co. Ltd was founded by the former Cirque du Soleil performer, Hsing-Ho Chen, in 2016. The Company endeavors to promote the circus culture in Taiwan and introduces Taiwanese circus talents to the world.

To share the enjoyment of circus with more people, the Company runs circus workshops and training programmes globally for both professionals and the public. Chen has been invited to give speeches not only in Taiwanese schools and the TEDxTaipei Annual Meeting, but also locations such as Canada, the Mainland, Israel, India and Chile. Chen has made more than one thousand presentations and workshops, influencing nearly one million people.

Since 2016, with its extensive experience and network in the field of circus, the Company hosts large-scale circus festivals in Taiwan. The festivals invited the best Taiwanese circus performers and foreign masters to showcase their impressive skills and creativity on stage and workshops, which attracted more than thousands of people to participate.
