per se
per se is a music duo composed of the music talents Stephen Mok and Sandy Ip. The name means “intrinsic or in itself”, which reflects their music being just music without the limitations and burdens of genre or style.
Throughout the years, per se has performed at music festivals such as Clockenflap (HK) and Strawberry Music Festival (SH) and have been nominated for Best Overseas Artist by GMA (TW) and CASH Best Arrangement and Best Group Performance (HK). In 2020, per se was one of the Top Ten Songs Award at Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation.
Sara C. Quartet
Graduated from EXCEL of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in the BTEC Musical Theatre Programme, Sara C. attained Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNC Higher National Diploma in Performing Arts (QCF). Sara C. has been involved in different singing and musical performances since pursuing her studies in musical theatre. Fascinated by neo-soul, R&B and jazz music, her singing style is deeply influenced by these genres.
In 2016, she officially started her singing journey at the live house 1563 at the East. Currently focusing on pop and jazz music, Sara has performed in live houses, weddings, malls, events, including Hong Kong International Airport, Lee Tung Avenue, Harbour City, Fashion Asia Hong Kong 2016, the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival 2017, EGGssentially ART! 2018, Tai Kwun, and 1563 at the East, etc.
In 2019, she also participated in Leo Ku’s “We Tour Part 2” concert and Jan Lamb’s “Happy Monday Standup 2019” stand-up comedy show as one of the choir members in Hong Kong Coliseum.
She has recently collaborated with Coverdog in their unplugged series, covering the songs “Say Something” and “Human Nature” in their music videos.
Besides live performances, Sara C. has also been participated in singing recordings, including recent work of renowned composer Vicky Fung and lyricist Yiu-Fai Chow’s “無限聚曲”, and “All The Same” from the multi-media stage show “Utopia, momentarily”.
For this online show, Sara C. has invited Enoch Cheng on the keyboard, Victor Tsang on the guitar and Chan Kam Ming on the bass to join her quartet.
Set Tone Men
Set Tone Men (STM), established in September 2011, is a young and energetic contemporary male a cappella group. STM has a diverse repertoire of pop and jazz, presented in extraordinary styles and arrangements. With years of singing experience, STM brings the audience a unique a cappella experience through live performances and their harmonious voices.
STM has been invited to perform at various events. In 2012, they were invited by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) to perform in their Christmas Concert in The Park. In the same year, they were invited by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department to perform in The Sound of Art. In July 2013, STM was invited by the city of Koshu, Japan, to perform at the Koshu a cappella Summit. In December 2014, STM was invited by Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Centre to take part in Voice Connected, a short film project which aims to raise awareness of cultural preservation of Hong Kong through traditional songs and video documentaries.
STM has participated in multiple international competitions, and has received encouraging results at the Taiwan International Vocal Festival 2012, where it won a Silver Medal in the World Contemporary a cappella Competition. It has also won the champion in Open Class of the Hong Kong a cappella Contest 2012 and has been awarded Gold Prize in the Hong Kong International a cappella Contest 2013.
In 2015, STM was invited by Hong Kong singer Phil Lam to record Cantonese pop song《頌讚詩》 (A Hymn of Praise), which received wide acclaim. Later that year, they were invited by RTHK as guests in their programme Artispiration to promotion the a cappella art form.

"Afternoon Tea" has its own localised style everywhere in the world and in Hong Kong. By exploring possibilities of a duo in this city, we wish to share with you both "tea-time" relaxing moments and our thoughts in a mix of grooves after your busy hours.
VSing
VSing is a professional a cappella group based in Hong Kong. Known for their imaginative and intricate musical arrangements, as well as their versatility across musical genres, VSing is emerging as a fresh and exciting new voice in the growing Hong Kong a cappella scene, and the general Hong Kong music scene at large.
Despite having been active for only just a little over 3 years, VSing has already gained media attention from multiple fronts, and boasts a strong social media presence with regular video releases. In July 2018, VSing was named 1563 at the East’s Artist of the Month, and in October, won the Gold Medal Prize at the Taiwan International Contemporary A Cappella Festival. In September 2020, VSing released its first original song and music video “Hear My Voice”. Garnering much positive reviews and media attention, “Hear My Voice” is slated to help contemporary a cappella make a splash in the Hong Kong pop music scene and to popularise the genre.
VSing regularly takes part in a variety of performances, and has worked with a number of well-known artists and musicians. In 2018, VSing was invited by Guangzhou Broadcasting Network to perform at their Chinese New Year’s Eve TV Show. The same year, the group was also handpicked by acclaimed producer Edward Chan to arrange for and perform with singer Jason Chan at his 2018 “Not Alone” Live Concert to a rousing reception. Other artists VSing has worked with include Janice Vidal, Hins Cheung, Rubberband, as well as jazz musician Patrick Lui. In Jan 2020, VSing headlined their sold-out concert “Take a Bow: A cappella” at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium, as part of the “Music Delight” Series, presented by the Cultural Presentations Section of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
VSing has also performed in cities all around the world, including Dubai, Serbia, and various cities in the Mainland China. Most recently in Jan/Feb 2020, the group was invited by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices to perform in a 9-city tour around Europe.
To emphasise a cappella music’s unique quality of using just the human voice, as well as to underscore each member’s unique voice, they have chosen “吾聲”, which means “our voices”, as the Chinese name of the group. It is with these voices that they hope to connect to the wider community, and to promote this burgeoning music genre that is a cappella.

Winter Bagels
Winter Bagels is an acoustic-pop girl band formed in Jan 2016; Kaki and Cup are both lead vocalist and guitarist. "Everyone is a bagel" : having a heart of simplicity and born to be genuine. These “winter-borns” decided to form a group in this cold season, using our music to fill up emptiness inside our hearts. Enjoy our music like the special toppings on bagels.
In 2016, the duo released their debut EP "Winter Bagels", bringing their EP to Eastern Europe for summer busking. After the trip, they have continued to participate in local music events actively including Jockey Club Street Music Series, Freespace Happening, Musik11,"Ear Up" record label creation and incubation program, etc.
Dipsy Ha & Friends
Dipsy Ha & Friends was established under COVID-19 and made its debut in the online concert of Earup Gig On in 2020. In the concert, five songs were published under the theme of "Atypical Love”, namely "Warm Reminder☺", "Memorial", "Lover Under the Skin", "Florence" and “The Thorn”.
They are a pop music big band who treat composition and arrangement as the beginning and the “song” itself as the core. They present Canto-pop songs and the personality of each “Friends” with dynamic music styles and novel music structures.
Dipsy Ha plays the role of creator and trumpeter, and Friends includes Jim Chan (lyrics), Chan Ka Long (lyrics), Karen Wu (singer), Joanne Shao (singer), Hero Wong (singer), Shawn Tam (cello), Meg Chan (violin), Calvin Wong (saxophone), Terence Lo (trombone), Samson Lee (tuba), Raymond Wan (piano), Terence “Dull” Liu (bass guitar), Sammy Tang (drum-set), Heihei (drum-set) and Haru Lau (drum-set).
FANtastica
FANtastica is a local concept project led by Anna Fan, integrating modern pop music and jazz music. Since 2010, it has been frequently invited to perform and hold workshops to actively create and promote jazz culture. According to the different themes of each performance, Anna Fan will invite different musicians to cooperate and create different sparks with local elite musicians.
This time, in order to match the theme of "Life is impermanent, but still try to get closer" in “Social Gathering Ban(d) Song”, Anna Fan elaborately arranged two bassists Tom Wong, Wong Tak Chung, cellist Bernard Chan, Saxophonist Kenny Lin, guitarist Tsui Chin Hung, and keyboardist Ricky Wong, together creating endless possibilities.
The Black Sheepee
The Black Sheepee is a duo formed by Yanny (Vocal) and Heihei (Songwriter & Guitarist). They wish to express daily thoughts in their mind through music and create a resonance with audiences.
As advertising design graduates, they are eager to insert their unique creative elements into their music work and music videos. The duo are also actively collaborating with various local musicians and artists to deliver more diverse music work to audiences.
Jing Wong
Jing Wong graduated as a Theatre Designer and Director in London's Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design with First Honours. Jing Wong went on to create a Fashion Theatre brand with his sister Kay called Daydream Nation in 2007. He was first signed to People Mountain People Sea, and now signed to Frenzi Music. He has released a total of 5 album/EPs and has toured 30 cities in the Mainland. He played at Music Festivals such as the Clockenflap, Wow and Flutter and Freespace Happening. He was also invited to play in Adelaide's OZAsia Festival in 2016, as well as Zandari Festival and PAMS festival in Seoul 2017. His songs featured in films by Ann Hui and Heiward Mak. He is also a keen educator who taught young musicians regularly in events organised by the Renaissance Foundation and “Every Life is a Song”. His latest Theatre Concert/Concept Album “A Spy in the House of Love”, released and performed in November 2018, is signalling his return to his theatre roots, where he explores how music and theatre can collide in more artistic and creative formats.
Felix Tham
Felix Tham is a violinist and has studied extensively under the late great violin pedagogue Professor Lin Yao Ji of the Central Conservatory of Music. Garnering a bevy of local music competition awards, Felix was chosen to represent Hong Kong at the Tochigi Music Festival in Japan as a soloist at age 13. At school and at university, Felix performed extensively as a soloist and ensemble musician. In recent years, through his association with pop jazz funk Acoufunkture, folk tango outfit Cafe 852 and indy "book rock" singer Jing Wong, Felix has been experimenting with ever-expanding genres. His recent collaborations include the critically acclaimed music-drama "A Spy in the House of Love" with Jing Wong, and a recording of the tango "Por Una Cabeza" at the RTHK with Cafe 852.
Clark Lo
Clark Lo is a local experienced drummer, who is the spokesperson of a Turkish cymbal brand “Anatolian Cymbals” in Hong Kong. He is the drummer of the local band Cracklebox and Tommy Chung’s Blues Trio and guest drummer of The Flame. He collaborates with local musicians from time to time, and participated in the production of theme songs for large-scale performances and won numerous awards in different band competitions.
In addition, Lo was a member of the program committee of the Silvermine Bay Beach Music Festival. He has organised many large outdoor music festivals and participated in many large-scale concerts as a technician (Drum-Tech). He has a deep knowledge and a unique set of insights and aesthetics in equipment.
