“Heritage Vogue‧Hollywood Road” Street Carnival returns this year! Featuring an exciting mix of innovative cultural and arts activities ranging from street dances and music performances to guided tours, a night parade, exhibitions and many more, the Street Carnival is the perfect opportunity to experience the rich history and unique cultural and arts ambience of Hollywood Road. Hosted by the Commissioner for Heritage's Office of the Development Bureau and co-organised by the Antiquities and Monuments Office, Tai Kwun, PMQ, the Hong Kong Antique and Art Galleries Association and Arts in Heritage Research, the event is made possible by the generous support of the 11 parties of the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme and other stakeholders.
Since its inception on 25 April 2008 under the Development Bureau, the Commissioner for Heritage's Office (CHO) has been engaged in heritage conservation work. In addition to launching a whole host of heritage conservation initiatives, the CHO has since introduced the Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme and the Financial Assistance for Maintenance Scheme on Built Heritage while organising a series of publicity and public education activities. In 2016, CHO launched the Built Heritage Conservation Fund to further advance its work.
