Join this special guided tour to discover Tai Kwun’s rich architectural heritage. Get to know how individual structures and original elements embrace diverse architectural traditions; how materiality and craftsmanship reflect the technological and cultural significance of the heritage site.

From the designs of Chinese pan-and-roll tile roof, timber roof truss, and European cantilevered staircase to the tactile properties of stone, wood, metal, and brick—the tour enhances one’s appreciation of architecture and personal experience of the site.

The tour lasts for 60 mins and involves staircase walks. Participants should consider their physical suitability and, if necessary, the need for carer support. Please read and agree to the Terms and Conditions (Notes on Architectural Legacy Guided Tour) before registration.
