How are we going to make films if so many topics out there are regarded as sensitive? Famous film critic Born Lo is going to analyse with the audience Hong Kong Films produced after the 1989 and before the 1997, guiding all participants through an exciting journey in revealing all the subtle references behind the metaphors. How cool is that!

Notes for application:
1.    The workshop will be conducted in Cantonese
2.    Participants must be able to join both workshops in two consecutive weeks
3.    We are on first come first serve basis with a capacity of 20 people
4.    The workshop welcomes all movie lovers from secondary school (F4) or above

About our instructor:
A movie lover with academic background in architecture, member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and also a Registered Architect in Hong Kong. Born Lo is the Father of HKDI Architectural Design Education. He is also the Founder of The People’s Classroom.  Having served in the film industry and now working as an independent filmmaker, the critics written by Born Lo are published broadly across mainstream local media including Sing Pao Daily News, Hong Kong Economic Journal, Hong Kong Economic Times, City Entertainment Magazine, City Magazine, Initium Media, Ming Pao Century, etc.  He is one of the most controversial film critic in Hong Kong and he has been writing columns for Sunday Ming Pao for 10 years. His footprints on film education can never be missed in institutions such as HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, Hong Kong Baptist University and Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
