Tai Kwun Education Activity: Heritage Education Courtroom Theatre
A 3-hour activity immersing students in Tai Kwun’s heritage atmosphere to learn about the history and development of Hong Kong’s judicial system. The activity offers two themes to suit senior primary to secondary students.

Teachers may use activity cards designed by the Tai Kwun Heritage Education Team to encourage students to observe and reflect on Tai Kwun’s architecture and heritage stories during their visit. Student activity cards are available for different age levels: (1) kindergarten, (2) lower primary, (3) upper primary to lower secondary, and (4) upper secondary. Teachers’ Resource Handbook
This handbook acquaints primary and secondary school teachers with the history and revitalisation of Tai Kwun. Suggested learning activities deepen students’ understanding of Hong Kong’s conservation policies, as well as the importance of striking a balance between conservation and sustainable urban development.
