Job Description
- Work closely with Production Managers, Internal Program Teams, Event Organizers, Hirer’s or their agents to provide guidance for event/performance quality and guarantee excellent visitor experience while understand event risk and compliance requirements
- Be the primary contact for event organizers and Hirers for individual events. Provide guidance and ensure the best possible performance needs are met within Tai Kwun venue constraints
- Supervise technicians and contractors to ensure on-site performance quality, procedures conformity, EPD compliance and proper use of Company’s equipment and facilities
- Manage technical and operational support to performing arts outdoor and indoor productions including all aspects of pre-production, planning and execution
- Establish systematic quality assurance include organizing technical meetings, information, process documents and project coordination leading to event owner and hirer’s satisfaction
- Review and recommend equipment and means to improve production quality, standardize and simplify the delivery of Production Services
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts, Technical Theatre, Events Planning or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in a similar sized institutional with knowledge of industry practices, benchmarks, costs and service applications
- Self motivated, diligent with strong organization and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Corporate Systems Software. Knowledge in AutoCAD is preferred
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Flexible to work irregular hours including weekends, evenings, public holidays or festive seasons
