Tak Wan bakery of Queens Road Central near Tai Kwun was a famous restaurant and cake shop during pre-war years. The Hong Kong Open Print Workshop will obtain their labels to demonstrate the relationship between lithography and offset printing used today, the story of the Hong Kong Asian Lithographic Publisher, the separation of colors in chromolithography, the principles of overprinting, and will conduct a demonstration of these techniques.
